Jim Flynn is a resident of Saratoga Springs and currently employed by The Adirondack Trust Company as a Vice President in their Insurance Division. Prior to Adirondack Trust Jim spent 12 years on Wall Street with E.F. Hutton, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Metallgesellschaft (private Germany Commodities Firm) before moving to Saratoga Springs with his wife Kathy in 1994. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from SUNY Plattsburgh and a MBA from CW Post.

Jim has a heart for service and has volunteered significant time and leadership to the Saratoga Springs Lions Club (Past President) since joining 19 years ago. He is a Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award winner and a Knight of the Blind. In 2016 Jim was awarded the David Carr Sr. Lion of the Year Award by his Club and was recognized by the District 20Y2 Governor with the Brandel-Murphy Youth Foundation “Miracles through Service” Award for playing an integral role in a Saratoga Lions Club Service Project establishing a Fully Equipped Diabetic and Sight Examination room for diagnosis and treatment of eye wellness at the Saratoga Community Health Center.

With twin sons Matt and Ryan growing up and enjoying the Saratoga sports community, Jim has volunteered with numerous youth sports organizations and is a Past President of the Children’s Museum at Saratoga.

Currently, Mr. Flynn serves as the Vice-President of Fundraising for Camp Abilities Saratoga.
