Phil Klein is retired after a long career at Amsure Insurance/Adirondack Trust in Saratoga Springs. Phil has lived in Saratoga Springs for over 40 years. He spent 18 of those years as a Supervisor for the City of Saratoga Springs as well as a representative of the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors.
A member of the Saratoga Springs Lions for over 40 years, Phil has served the Lions as Club President, Zone Chairman, and President of the Saratoga Springs Lions Foundation. In addition, Phil serves as Past President of the Board of the Lions Eye Institute at Albany.
Mr. Klein has been very active in community and civic organizations. He was a 16 year member of Saratoga Hospital Board of Trustees and served as chairman for 3 years. Included among the other organizations whose boards Phil has served are the Wesley Community, the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, the Saratoga YMCA, the Saratoga County G.O.P., and the NYS Hudson River-Black River Regulating District.
Phil earned an Associates Degree in Accounting from Albany Business College and is a Certified Health Consultant.
Phil and his wife, Lynne, have an adult son, Philip, and a grandson. He enjoys classic cars and collecting maps of Saratoga Springs and Saratoga County.
Currently, Mr. Klein serves as a Board Member of Camp Abilities Saratoga.
