Barbara Bentley is a resident of Colonie and is currently employed with Centene Corporation as a Provider Relations Specialist. She studied business and accounting at Sage College and has recently earned her certificate as an ADCES Certified Diabetes Paraprofessional.
Ms. Bentley is a member of the Saratoga Springs Lions Club where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors. She also holds positions on the Lions District and State level, including District Diabetes Chair as well as serving on the board of the Lions Eye Institute at Albany and a Trustee for the New York State and Bermuda Lions Foundation. She has been awarded the David Carr Sr. Lion of the Year Award by her Club and has been recognized by the District with the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship, Robert J. Uplinger Distinguished Service Award and Past District Governor’s Leadership Award.
Ms. Bentley enjoys photography and volunteering with organizations that raise and train service dogs, including Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Blue Path Service Dogs that raise and train dogs to be placed with families with children with autism.
Currently, Ms. Bentley serves as a Board Member of Camp Abilities Saratoga.
